So Friday afternoon we were done with the workshop I was at and figured we should hang out in SLC for the evening. I have wanted to go to Body Worlds for months now, and it was right across the street and much too tempting, so we had to go. Everyone that I have spoken to that have been to the exhibit have loved it, I have heard and seen in the paper and on the news some people that were appalled or grossed out, but I really wasn't. First off, I was a CNA for a few years after high school, not to sound morbid but, I have seen real cadavers and I am pretty desensitised to this kind of stuff. So I thought the exhibit was amazing and fascinating. Justin was intrigued but did find it a little creepy. I have to admit it is probably not for everyone, but it is a once in a lifetime way to see what a human body really looks like. If you are into medical stuff you should love it. It is in its final weeks if you still want to check it out, you need to hurry! After that we went over to the Gateway to get some dinner and do some shopping. On a Friday night of course, I couldn't do much shopping. But we did eat at the Happy Sumo, and it was awesome. They make the best tofu, amazing food! We agreed it was one of our new favorite restaurants. It was so nice to just be able to hang out with Justin all day. From the talk to the dinner, to the exhibit, we had a lot of great existential conversations that day!
