Tomorrow Henry is 4 weeks old! I can't believe it! At his appointment last week he was 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 and a half inches. That is a pound and an inch and a half from his birth size! His pediatrician says I don't have to feed him so much anymore. I was feeding him about every two hours but now I can let him go over 3 hours and I let him go as long as he will at night (which is about 4 hours). So we are getting a little more sleep at night, on the good days. But he still wants to sleep in his swing, by mom and dad's bed, so I am waking up all night checking on him. He is still so sweet and rarely cries, he just tells you the second he is hungry or dirty. We still can't part with him. We were entertaining the idea of going out this weekend for Valentine's Day and leaving him with Nana, but we just can't do it yet. Plus nursing makes it a little harder, if you know what I mean. Even if I have a bottle for someone else to feed him, he prefers the real thing. So I don't think we will be having a night out on the town for some time. But that really doesn't matter right now, we are loving being parents. I can't wait to see what new thing he is going to do every day. He is everything I ever wanted! We are so lucky to have our sweet little man.
