Henry was 2 weeks old on Friday and I can't believe how time flies! I feel like we just brought him home yesterday. He is growing so much! I can't wait to see how much bigger he is this week at his 3 week check up. I am still adjusting to my new role and trying to get the hang of things. We are getting a schedule set and working together to try to keep up on all the chores and all the baby stuff. I was too scared before to set him down for even a second, but I am learning to put him down to sleep and then to do what I need to while he naps. I am healing well which helps a lot, my tailbone is coming along great, and now I can get up and down easier and take care of things on my own. Henry is such a good baby, he only cries when he is hungry or wet. He is finally sleeping 3 to 4 hours at night between feedings, most nights. So we are getting a tiny bit more sleep. And Wow, this nursing thing is hard work! But I am sticking it out. And he still has to sleep in his swing! I hope we can go to the crib soon? He is so amazing some days I still cry just looking at him. I can't get over the fact that he is ours. We are so in love with him and enjoying every single day.

Sounds like everything is working out great! My best advice is where ever he will sleep for the 1st fews months let him. Gage slept a lot in his swing for naps at first and I spent a lot of time worrying that it was bad. Now I'm so thankful he was actually sleeping! Whatever works do it and do not worry about anything else! :)
