History Was Made

I am going to start out by saying, yesterday was an amazing day, and it didn't matter who you voted as long as you voted. I am of course ecstatic the Obama will be the 44th president of our great nation and I am excited to see him in action. I have to say McCain's speech was very nice and he is an amazing man who deserves all of our respect. 5 years in a POW camp is no picnic and he has come incredibly far in his career and I really like him. But now America is going to get a real change! To see the first African American president is something I will be able to tell my children and grandchildren I saw. I feel like voting in this election made me part of history and I am proud to say I voted for Obama. It was amazing to see all those people in Hyde Park to see him speak to, all kinds of people, from Oprah to the regular people.haha All walks of life, races and classes were there to witness that amazing day. I feel so proud for all African Americans that witnessed this day in there lifetime, I feel so proud of American for overcoming our racial stereotypes, I feel proud to be an American. All race stuff aside I think Obama will equal change for everyone and will lead our country into great things in the years to come. Go Barack! And I have to say, I love that silly picture I have at the top, it made me laugh out loud. =)
