My Official Review

SO, I have already seen Twilight twice this weekend. I went on Friday night to the midnight show with Justin, my Dad, my sisters and Travis. All of us have read the book. Yes even my Dad! We all liked it a lot. Then Justin and I went down to our Twilight party in Salt Lake on Saturday. After seeing it the second time we still liked it. I am surprised Justin even said it was good. I was worried he was going to make fun of it. I do think it will do well with its built in fan base, but I'm not sure if non-fans will go and see it. Don't get me wrong, it is a good movie. I just don't know if people will like it. It has already made over 70 million this weekend and Summit announced the green light for production on a New Moon movie. So I am hoping it keeps going in and rakes in the dough.

First off, I love the music. I really liked how they put the soundtrack in the movie, it really worked.I think the casting was absolutely perfect! I can't wait to see more of Taylor as Jacob in the next movie, he was so cute! There was just the right amount of humor, I loved all the students like Eric and Mike, and Jessica. They are perfect! Justin really liked Charlie, he definitely added a lot of the funnier moments to the movie. I personally liked all the lovey dovey gooey stuff, and I am glad they had so much of the book quoted in the movie. I know when I was at the midnight show a lot of people laughed at some parts that I didn't think were funny. I guess I can see the overly lovey stuff wouldn't work for some people, but I was fine with it. I wanted even more of it, and more kissing would have been nice! But the kissing in it, was HOT! I love the baseball game, of course. I love when Bella meets the Cullens and I have to say I loved Jasper. He had a small part this movie but still made a big impression. I liked the flashbacks and really didn't mind the sparkle. The movie was a little different from the book, but all in all I felt the essence was captured beautifully. OK I'm going to stop gushing now and tell you to just go out and see it yourself. I loved it!
