Life Goes On...

I have had a lot of sad posts lately, so I figured I would talk about some good stuff, because life isn't all that bad. My meds are working good and the swelling around my rib is going down, and my car got looked at and I get a rental when it goes in the shop on the 19th (I love rental cars!).
Sam started her first collage classes this week, I am so excited for her, I know it is hard but she will hang in there! My adorable niece Emerlynn can hold up her head on her own now, which is great because it is so big. haha She is doing so good, I am so proud of my sister. Justin and I went on a double date the other night with Step and Russ and saw Yes Man! It was so freaking funny! Way better then I thought it would be. I got my brows waxed, and apparently I have great arches. Who knew? And last night we all watched Mama Mia, I got it for Christmas and had been dying to watch it, It is such a cute movie, Cathy, Sam, and I loved it, I get to sing along now that I have it at home. So life isn't all that bad, right? We have been very busy at work with all the media attention from the 2 murders that happened recently. I have been overwhelmed, but glad the media is doing something right and encouraging victims to come forward. I am so thankful for my job! And lets not forget, It's the WEEKEND! Here is a cute joke I got today that I loved...and Ninja cat!

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Oprah show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Oz proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.' So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Tequila, (the almondrado variety!), a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how good I feel right now.
