I love to go to Pride! Justin was working (he wasn't too sad to not go), so Sam, her boyfriend Geoph and his band mate Simon went with me. They have never been so we really had a lot of fun. Of course it rained almost the whole time! We got there right as the parade was getting over, it was just too rainy and I didn't want to stand out in the cold. Then we walked around all the booths, watched some gay karaoke and ate some great Greek food. I know how a lot of people feel about this touchy subject, but I have just had too many friends to be prejudice. I ran into my old neighbors, a couple of guys that lived downstairs from us for years, and some old coworkers and friends. Pride really is a fun, eye opening experience. And as you can see Sam and I could not believe these Drag Queens, we just had to get a picture!
Speaking of gay, did anyone else see this Rolling Stone article (or Adam's smoking drag queen photo)? Adam Lambert is great. I routed for him the whole Idol season this year! Sure he was a little over the top and a little overdone, but this guy has guts! The article is pretty funny and clever. If anyone for a second ever doubted he was a homosexual then you need to turn up your gaydar!People acted like it was a shock! It is pretty dang obvious! But I don't think that discounts him in any way as a singer or a person. So more power to Adam! Rock your sexuality boy!!!
