35 WEEKS- 35 DAYS TO GO

So we are now at 35 weeks! Wow! I feel like the baby is getting so close. I am starting to get a little nervous about the whole thing. This whole time I have been pretty confident and ready to have this baby. But now that we are this close I am starting to think, in about a month or less Justin and I will be a mom and dad! We went to our baby basics class the other night. I felt pretty good about the knowledge I have and didn't really learn much new info. But it was nice to be refreshed, and I wanted Justin to feel like he had enough info. He is one of those people who like to learn and be shown things, so the class was a perfect opportunity to ask any questions. So we are ready now, whenever Henry is ready to show. It is funny how much you start to doubt yourself the closer you get. I have been, a CNA, I have worked in daycares, shelters and taken care of numerous children including my sisters. But I still can't help but wonder what it is going to be like when I am actually the mother of my own baby. I just don't think anything else I have done to this point can fully prepare me. But at the same time I'm not afraid that Justin and I can't do it. It is just that fear of the unknown that starts to creep in. I am just trying to stay positive for myself and Justin. We are getting so close to the finish line now, there is no second guessing.

Here are some cute pictures of my niece Emerlynn at our family Christmas party Saturday. She is such a character. She loves to eat and the second she saw the camera she started making this silly scrunchy face and laughing. She loves the camera, she is such a ham! And she adores her Uncle Justin! Everything he does is hilarious! She loves to play hide and seek with him and she laughs so hard when he disappears behind the blanket or the table. It is great to see Justin interacting so well with her, I know he is going to be such a great dad. It really gets me excited to see him with Henry.
