Our vacation was great! I am still sorting, resizing and cropping some of the 700 photos we took so we can share them. Plus we had to unpack, clean my poor car and come back to work. So I am going to do this one step at a time. There will be a couple of new posts everyday for probably the next week detailing out trip. I will try to do it day by day in some organized fashion. I know a lot of you are excited to see photos so bear with me, they are coming.
Day 1: Day one was nothing but driving. It wasn't so bad. We left Clearfield at 6:30 am and got to Seattle about 7:30 pm. Going by Boise I got pulled over on the freeway for speeding in a construction zone. I had never got a speeding ticket before so I was kinda bummed. But I knew I wasn't paying attention, so $75 it is.=( We checked into our hotel, cleaned up and went to dinner at a nice Thai restaurant on the corner. Then we walked over to a real hip record store called Easy Street Records. Everyone so far was really nice. And the city is huge by the way! We were so excited.
Day2: We got up bright and early and took the hotel shuttle to the Pike Place market. This has to be one of the coolest places I have ever been to. The different array of seafood was insane! And it was cheap too! It was still very early and a lot of the vendors were still setting up so Justin and I agreed we would have to come back later. Right in the heart of the market is the first Starbucks Coffee ever!!! We are huge Starbucks fans so this was pretty dang exciting. We got lattes and bought an official mug. Then we walked down by the water front to look at some of their cool city art. This picture at the bottom is a totem pole made out of motorcycle parts. If you look close you can see the cute animals. This was only the beginning of our day.

That's cool you got to visit the first ever Starbucks! Did it look old and original?
