I decided the tide pools needed their own post. It was definitely a highlight. We drove at about 5 in the morning all the way down to the beach. When we got there it was still dark and foggy. We hiked down this big steep hill on this rocky trail. It was pretty scary! We put Justin in the back because he was the only guy. When we got down to the beach it was so dark we looked around with our flashlights and didn't see much at first until the highest waves were on the beach. As the sun rose we could see the sea life everywhere! Star fish, urchins, and mussels. The rocks were covered in life, it was amazing. In Twilight Bella goes to tide pools when she goes to the beach. But these tide pools were very far away from First Beach. I took so many pictures that morning but here are a bunch of my favorites.

So much fun! Everything is gorgeous up there. When we were in Oregon last year we went to the tide pools. It was my favorite....it is so cool to see all of the sea life up close. Glad you guys had such a good time.
