The Hoh and First Beach

Finally Friday, day 5 was the first day of our Forks festivities! We were staying at the Dew Drop Inn with about 50 other Twilight Moms. We had the whole hotel to ourselves and Justin was the "lucky" only guy! We had a meeting first thing in the morning and then all headed out to the Hoh Rainforest. This place was one of the most amazing places I have ever been in my whole life! It was so alien, yet so beautiful! I have never seen so much green, or trees so big anywhere! We were in awe to say the least. We did a beautiful hike called the Hall of Mosses. This places in one of those places everyone must visit before they die! I could have hiked there all day. For lunch we drove down to La Push and had a picnic on First Beach. This beach is where Bella and Jacob go in the first book and where she cliff dives in the second book. This place didn't look like you could do any cliff diving! It was very rocky and the waters looked pretty ruff, but it was beautiful anyway. I dipped my feet in the water like a crazy person! It was so cold! We hung out there for a couple of hours and then headed back to Forks. They ladies in my group were going to Port Angles and we had already been so we stayed behind. We went to dinner at The Restaurant. There is only like 3 in the whole town so one can just be called "The Restaurant" I got a great seafood salad. We walked around the Forks Outfitter and then finally went back to our room to relax. Funny tidbit, we watched a show on cable about the history of Dracula. I thought it was so fitting. LOL
