So lets give you the bad news first. The Three Musketeers are no more. My best friends at work Raquel and Lacy are both leaving. Both have found better jobs in Salt Lake and are going on to greener pastures. I am going to miss them both terribly and I just don't think work will be the same without them. I wish them the best of luck and lots of love. Well now for the good news, the silver lining, I am taking Lacy's job. I am going to go from being the aftercare case manger to the domestic violence advocate. This will be an amazing opportunity and what I said I was going to school for the whole time. Advocacy is a job on the rise, all over the country police departments and cities are creating advocate programs. I am so excited to be going to court more, doing protective orders, and working with lawyers and police on a more direct level. I am going to be helping a lot more clients and have a much busier schedule then the position I have now. And of course the raise is awesome, more then I have ever made at a job in my life! So I am pretty excited! I really hate to lose my girls, but this opportunity will give my career a huge boost. I can't wait to start training this week.

Congrats on the promotion! That's awesome, and it sounds like it's going to be great for you. It's nice to know that you're going to be doing something you went to school for, huh? Well we are very happy for you Tara!
Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. The YCC is so lucky to have you. I think you will be great in your new advocate position. Tell Raquel and Lacy I said congrats and good luck! What are you going to do there without them???
