The horn playersNo offense, but all you Swiss Days people have it all wrong! The real party is the Oktoberfest at Snowbird! We went up last Saturday and had a blast! We arrived right after one and walked around to look at all the cool little booths. We bought some German chocolate and a cute beanie for Henry. We ate a German feast! I got a chicken and apple brawt with sauerkraut and a pickle and Justin got potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce. And lets not forget the German chocolate cake and dark beer (Which I of course didn't get any of, the beer that is.). Then we rode the tram up to Hidden Peak, 11,000 feet up and watched the horn players. It was pretty cool! By the time we came back down we were tired. We stopped at P.F. Chang's on the way home because I have never been before. Now I know I am going to get a lot of flack for this but, I wasn't that impressed. I would rather have gone to Happy Sumo, but that's just me. But we did see Andrei Kirilenko getting some take out. We had already met him a few years ago at a Jazz meet and greet so I didn't feel it necessary to go over and bother him. But it was cool to see him out and getting dinner after a long day at training. So our Saturday was a blast!
