I have been reading this book recently called Escape by Carolynn Jessop. It is one women's true story of her escape from polygamy and how it affected her life. She was married to Merrile Jessop and had eight children before she fled. It is an amazing story and I think she has to be one of the most fascinating and brave women I have ever read about. Well you can imagine my excitement when I got the Statewide Advocate Organization quarterly training invite and saw that she will be the speaker at our conference next week! My co-worker Bonnie and I are going to Moab next Wednesday, Thursday and coming back Friday for this conference on polygamy. I am so excited to meet Carolynn and can't wait to learn more about the realities of this horrible lifestyle that is so prevalent out here in the west. And I can't wait to take a mini vacation to Moab. This will be Justin and I' s first time being apart since we have been married, so I am really going to miss him, but it's barely 3 days.
