I Hate the Dentist!

I have been so busy this past week that I have neglected my blog! I have missed it very much by the way and just thought I would share what has been up. Last week I went to the dentist for a simple tooth ache. I knew I had some work I had put off and it was probably what was bugging me. Well the dentist did an x-ray and sure enough, I had a tooth on my top right side with a root all the way up into my sinuses and it was infected. He told me to take an antibiotic (which is hard for me because I am allergic to almost all of them!) and go to a specialist when it calms down. Well Friday Justin and I were heading down to the scrapbook expo and my whole side of my face was sore. I was in tears by midnight! Needless to say this went on all weekend and I was in the specialist office Monday afternoon. He had to do a very deep invasive root canal. It was horrible, I think I cried to the whole time. I have such bad dentist anxiety as it is, this really didn't help. Well I stayed home from work Tuesday and slept that lovely Loratab induced slumber. Then this morning I had to go back to get the filling finished. They decided to wait on the crown because I'm still too infected and I have to wait for the swelling to calm down. I missed so much work and I am so behind, my apartment is a mess and I am exhausted, all over one little tooth. I really do hate tooth issues! =(
